Our last day in Saigon ...

... and we decided to go to Cholon (Chinatown) by bus ... are we nuts or what??? the place was absolutely mental, the traffic was horrendous and on top of everything, we didn't have a map but were looking for pagodas ... the first thing we found (our sign language was clearly not good enough) was Binh Tay market ... Kasbah at its purest ... but with a rather peaceful courtyard in the middle ...

... then a policeman pointed us out to a pagoda, and on our way there, we ended up finding two more ...

... the Vietnamese are preparing for Tet, their new year, and the deco is getting crazier and crazier ... apparently watermelons are a symbol of prosperity, too ...

... we came back from our tour absolutely devastated ... I think it's time for us to leave Vietnam and the motorbikes madness behind!!!
