Placencia

As the stormy weather continued ... where Ernst was struggling to keep the palms straight (!)

and after a hefty breakfast ...

we decided to catch a local bus ...

and head out to Placencia ... it was pouring down and the unpaved road looked like a river, therefore, we took shelter in a lovely coffee shop for a double espresso from Guatemala and thereafter in a small shack close to the port for some veggie burgers ...

we made it back to Maya beach for dinner, though, in time to see the full moon in Gemini raise from the sea...
