Maya chocolate meets indian spices!!

one cannot live only on snorkelling ... we made the best of a very rainy day and went to a cultural tour!!

first stop - Ixcacao Maya Chocolate, a family business producing organic, pure chocolate ... we even made and ate our own

 

 

second stop - a small mayan community where a women's group produces some beautiful handicraft, mainly waiving palm leaves ...

third stop - a spice farm set in a beautiful tropical garden ...
