Singapore & Kalimantan

 We spent three days in Singapore - what a fantastic place -- so much nature in the middle of a very futuristic city ... 

After a brief spell in Jakarta, we moved to Kalimantan (Borneo) ... 

Samboja Lodge was an amazing and we got close and personal with a lot of lovely creatures ...

Afterwards we spent 4 days driving from Balikpapan and Berau -- after a brief visit to a very wild, very remote forest, we finally made our way to Nabucco Island Resort ... a real paradise on earth

We even managed to spend a few hours in Kakaban, swimming with thousands of stingless jellyfish ... what an experience!

Although at times it was a bit of a hit and miss, this holiday was exceptional - and it gave us the desire to explore the Malaysian side of Kalimantan, that is apparently even more beautiful!
