After a couple of trips "in transit" to other places, and our plans for 2020 derailed by covid, we finally managed to start our trip to the USA ... first stop (one day later - thanks a lot, United!!): New York
After one (great) week in the Big Apple, we flew away from the hectic of the big city ... next stop: Portland, Oregon! A quirky, "alternative" little thing with lots of breweries and parks ... We loved it!!
Finally, we caught the Amtrak train to Seattle ... and what a surprise it was!!
I definitely enjoyed the trip much more than anticipated ... and we are already planning to go back to visit another part of the US in a couple of years ...
