... and what a day it was!!
We started quite early with Vijay and headed back to the Jama Masijd Mosque, as to enter it I didn't really need a full burka, a ridiculous cape was enough ... as you can see, yellow is not my colour!
We then moved on to the Tomb of Humayun, that his wife built for him - exceptionally beautiful, I must say - and immersed in wonderful gardens...
The Lotus Temple, of the Baha'i religion, is supposed to be a place for prayer and meditation for people of all religions - it's very impressive and very popular, and already getting in requires a lot of "oooommm" - but we made it!
And last but not least - the oldest sign of muslim presence in Delhi - Qutub minaret ...
It was a very full day, we braved Delhi's traffic and heavy air, but we where very happy at the end ... thank you again Vijay for showing us this incredible city!! We also did a little bit of shopping, the results of which will be revealed very soon ... next stop - Agra!
