... we went up to Machu Picchu at about 7 am ... no point trying to get there earlier for sunrise, as it was too cloudy at that time ... it was a good choice, as it was still not too busy ...

... at about 11 am, we climbed up to Wayna Picchu ... it took us about one hour on a very steep trail, but the view from above was incredible ... even Machu Picchu looked soooo small ...
... we spent about 7 hours on site and we were completely knackered by the time we went back to Aguas Calientes ... but it had to be done!!!
